Welcome to Life’s A Bluff! The first true web-comic for the poker community.

It is with great pride and honor that I present to you the first comic, “A Day In The Life”.

This has been a brainchild of mine for almost a year and I was lucky enough to convince “the hardest working man in webcomicsä”, D.J. Coffman” to draw along for the ride. In that time, many hours have been spent making sure we get this done right. Ideas have been bounced back and forth and these characters were created with great care. If you enjoy this as half as much as we have had making it. Then our job is done.

I thought of many ways of “giving back” to the game and this by far was the best outlet for us right now. You know, since Barry Greenstein beat me to the whole Robin Hood deal and all. Ahh well… maybe some day. The point is I love the game of poker. Every little intricacy and nuance fascinates me. I would love to see poker on NBC’s “must see TV”, and that day may happen. Over the past few years the game sure has transformed. The Moneymaker boom has brought the tables out of the back room and into the spotlight where they belong. Now if it could just over take the NFL in ratings. Then the world will be ok.

Yet can anyone direct me to a poker related comic not depicting dogs or some other demeaning setup? How about a web-comic? Well we have one now!

You can expect a new comic every Thursday with the possibility of adding additional days. That just depends on how this goes over with everyone. The goal is to bring LaB to you 3 times a week! We just need YOU to make sure you let us know you want something like this. I for one as a player think it is long over-due.

We all know what a great thing the poker world can be. I have made many friends and had more than my share of laughs at the table. I hope that with your support, that a year from now I will have made a few more. So please take a moment to register with our forums and help us start to build the LaB community.
