The River Runs Through It
Ahhh, the mighty river. We have all taken a drowning plunge into that deep dark murky stream. You know that feeling, ice cold water that has the slight stench of donkey urine. Those moments quickly erase the memory of when you partied it up on 5th street.
Today you will notice the first mention of a name, Charlie. Full character bios later today.
So here we are, a week into the comic and have had a very good response so far. Keep those comments coming and keep spreading the word. We have lots of great things planned for the future and the more support the better.
Also expect more blog activity and a couple added sections to the site within a day or so to help fill the void on the days where there is no new strip. You can also get your comic fix daily through Yirmumah, D.J.’s other strip.
Again, if you guys want to see more Life’s A Bluff each week, make sure your voice is heard! Let us know! Leave a comment here on the blog, community forum, or email it to us. We want to know what you like and/or might want to see happen with the strip direction. Negative emails are welcome too.
Be sure to tune in over the weekend as we have another “wildcard” day planned. I am sure you will all enjoy it. We might even have a little LaB shwag laying around.
And remember folks, the river may sometimes cover you in urine, but don’t ever forget those 5th street parties when you drank for free.

This is great! Finally a poker webcomic! It’s great how you illustrate the damn fatality of the river. Even if you have an excellent hand, like most of you probably know, the river can always ruin it, hence my own saying about it : The river is a bitch. Keep up the good work!
