The New Life’s A Bluff Artist – Ryan Estrada!

Today is a very proud day for me. It marks day 1 of the BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW Life’s A Bluff. That’s right! The unofficial, official comic of poker is back!
Please welcome the new permanent LaB artist, Ryan Estrada! Starting October 1st we will return with a 3 a’week update schedule. From now on and for at the very least the next year… We will be updating with new strips every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday! You can count on it!
Those of you who read webcomics will be very familiar with Ryan’s work. He is one of the hardest working artists around and I am very lucky to get this chance to work with him. Right now I have him chained up in a Mexican basement working for slave wages and soon he will be off to India where he will work for even less. He is a happy man though and as long as he stays that way things are going to be just fine!
Ryan’s Bio:

Ryan Estrada sent out his first comic submission packet when he was six years old. He kept bugging the same newspaper until they finally hired him when he was 15. Since then, his work has appeared everywhere from Adult Swim (Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law) to the Young-Eun Museum of Contemporary Art.
Ryan has been a student in America, and ambassador to Australia, an animator in Canada, a teacher in Korea, homeless in Japan, a tsunami volunteer in Thailand, a backpacker in Malaysia, a tourist in Singapore, an illegal immigrant in Burma, an explorer in Cambodia, a quality control agent in India, and an artist in Mexico.
As he travels the world he makes comics which can be seen all over the web as well as recent volumes of the Flight anthology, and also a video travel series called Expeditions, which has been featured on CNN Headline News and Rocketboom.
He has slept on a bench in a typhoon twice, and has an irrational fear of falooda.
You can see more of Ryan’s work over at his website ryanestrada.com.
Come back Monday for a teaser strip and a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT regarding the signing of a world known, world class, superstar professional player to the Life’s A Bluff team. This is going to rock the world!
Webcomics are never going to be the same.
