Today we have another entertaining Random Questions interview. This one again comes from the 2008 LA Poker Classic. So without further ado I give you, the one… the only…. Joe Stapleton!

You write the strip contest:

Ok another contest for you guys. The strip below comes from Joaquin Gonzalez and was one of the submissions for LaB artist. Joaquin is another person who has some definite skills. The image below with Charlie tossing the cards is fantastic. I still intend to have it blown up and hung on my poker room wall.

Anyway, the idea for this contest is simple. You write the strip. The one we deem to be the best will win a deck of Copag cards, a Poker Remote Control, ANNNNND Tom Schneider’s new book; “OOPS! I Won Too Much Money: Winning Wisdom from the Boardroom to the Poker Table“.

Now you don’t have to photoshop the words/word bubbles in if you don’t have the ability. Just write the submission in the email and label each panel. ie: panel one: blah blah - panel two - wah wah wah - panel three - you get the idea - You have until St. Patricks Day, March 17th to get your entry in. Only one entry per person. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 19th.

I just wanted to clarify the idea for the contest. The idea is to re-write Joaquin’s “Mike Water” strip below. If you have photoshop or another editing program than you can add the bubbles yourself, otherwise you can just send it written in an email and if chosen as the winner I will edit and post.

Some of you asked if the idea was to write a new strip all together and it is not.
