Here is another story that got more press around the blogs than the Ultimate Bet scandal. It may be old news now but never too old for a comic.

David Sklansky already had a legacy. It was being known as one of the game’s most respected authors. And until recently his dirty old man exploits remained for the most part, private. That is until he decided to let the world know how dirty he really was. Things just sort of spiraled out of control and ended up with 2+2 banning just about everyone involved or might have known someone involved. Including David.

What is it about Brandi Hawbaker that turns seemingly smart men into complete morons? So called “world class poker players” are supposed to be experts at reading people. What happened here? Brandi may be thought of as scandalous and skeezy but the men enabling her are the ones with the real problems. It isn’t like her exploits are unknown either. The next poker player who falls into her web deserves every bit of what he gets. And you know… not all of it can be cured with penicillin.

Stay away from Brandi Hawbaker. And stay away from the dirty old men.
