Wow, ok, so my dorkiness has hit a wall. I know none of these dogs. The one with the eyepatch in the foreground looks familiar, as does the white dog in the top right, but no idea from where. You finally got me Ryan, well done.
Here is my time to Geek-Shine…a little.
Kirby from Scott Kurt’s PVP is getting one in the jowls.
Oso from Sheldon is the wide eyed pug.
Behind him is ‘Dog’ from Sinfest…sans Bally, but ok.
The back row with the V nose is Dietzel from Wapsi Square.
If you aren’t checking out these webcomics, you should. Ryan probably did a guest strip for all of them.
Maybe he’ll put the answers to all of these in the forums!
I’m at a loss for the rest. Hope Charlie meets Mike Vic and can hustle him out of some WSOP cash!
In addition to the cameos RuntCake mentioned, I see Nemu and Anpan from “Nemu nemu,” and Fred from “Copper.” The dog from sinfest is named “Pooch” as in pooch and percival. Who’s the sheepdog? And the very japanesey big-headed dog in the treenchcoat?
