The Winds of Change…

Today I read that DJ Coffman put Hero By Night on hiatus. I want to wish him nothing but the best of luck on whatever comes next. Hopefully he can regain the rights and then with that freedom, take HBN to a whole nother level. Anyone who is a fan of his work knows that he works best without restrictions.
Salute DJ.

On the subject of “change”, I was hoping to have the new site ready today but a boat load of computer problems kept me from doing much of anything this past weekend. PLEASE BEAR WITH ME.

The WSOP is finally under way!
Good Luck to all our friends who will be competing.
Phil Laak finished 9th in event #1 for 74k. Congrats to him.

Woot to LaB BuddieAndy Bloch for coming in second! Crazy three way all in hand with the final three really blew up the expected result of the event. I put a post up in the forums. Yeah for Nedad and Kathy for a very memorable final table, right there with Mike Sexton (in 4th) while Laak pulled 9th.
Hope the rest of the series stays this good.

PS — I thought the Platinum thing sounded fishy.
