PPA finally responds to AB/UB scandals
Well… 7+ months late is better than never.
I was over at Pokerati scanning some posts when I came across a link to this statement by Poker Player’s Alliance chairman, Senator Alfonse D’Amato. He names both Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker and condemns the “recent” scandals.
WOW. Kudos to the PPA.
Even if it took them this long to forumulate a statement that I asked for waaaay back in January, it’s appreciated. And even though I was taken to task and insulted by some PPA state reps. And even though their public position then was to not have one, they certainly get some credibility points from me.
Have they won me back over? Not yet… but it’s a start.

Only takes one bird to start the flush. Man, they must be about to run some people up the pole on the 60 mons interview.
Well, can’t say we didn’t tell them sooner, can they?

Most certainly thought of you, Frank, when I read the PPA presser. Agreed that it is better late than never.
