Kahnawake releases statement on scandals

You know… at first I thought that the recent PPA statement was genuine but after this one yesterday from Kahnawake I am convinced it is all just pre-60 minutes damage control. Everyone now appears to be running around with their heads cut off distancing themselves from what most think will be a scathing report about the online game.
Where were these people months ago when I was screaming FOUL at the top of my lungs?
I guess it won’t be too long before the shills at Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet start releasing their distancing statements. Seif? Hellmuth?
Speaking of FOUL. It seems Poker”News” no longer hosts ads for UB or AP and is now running headline stories on the scandals. Where were they months ago when it was oh I dunno…. News?
All of a sudden they are crying “ethics” over this Tiffany Michelle fiasco. HILL-LAIR-REE-OUS
It’s like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife…

Speaking of hilarious.. Have you seen the attack ads McCain has launched? One in particular was so outrageous that I was convinced that it was from a 3rd party until I heard…. “I’m John McCain, and I approved this message.”
You heard it right folks…. Obama is to blame for high gas prices.
The old man is really reaching huh?
McCain is a buffoon.
What is this world coming to!

I repeat the quote “D’Amato’s support for McCain is fine…”
More importantly, I’m trying not to kill the end of my workday my writing “what this really means” notes after each paragraph of that obvious C.Y.A. statement. Ick.

Yr right — PN should’ve cut out the UB & AP affiliate stuff long ago. PN has run stories on both scandals quite regularly all along, though.

Back when the scandals first broke, I don’t recall Poker”News” going out of their way to broadcast these headlines. They were small links and in passing.
But more specifically, nobody over there is responsible for any investigative journalism.
Things may have changed recently…. I don’t go there enough to know.

What is the story about 60 Minutes? Are they going to cover the online poker scandals? When?
