John McCain and racist mailer.
Yesterday I received a mailer from the Colorado Republican Committee. In it they push again this idea that somehow Barack is a terrorist. What bothers me about this (besides the Ayers nonsense) is the apparent darkening of images to make Obama appear blacker…. scarier…

The above pictures were taken directly from the mailer I received. Other than the red text, it has not been altered by me at all.
Now for a comparison here is the very first picture that comes up when you search “Barack Obama” on Google images:
Now I am not 100 percent that the Ayers flyer images have been darkened. They may have just been selected because of their darkness.
Remind you of anything?
The racial undertones are extremely obvious and I am outraged at this. John McCain should be outraged. He should apologize for them and fire whoever put it together. I have sent this ad to the local media , Colorado Democrats, & CNN. Maybe it will get the attention it deserves. Hell… CNN gave air time to some Republican moron mouthpiece who was going bonkers over a cover photo of Sarah Palin that was very closeup and without any airbrushing. I think it was on Larry King but she appeared on 2 different programs I remember her crying about the same thing on both. I just can’t recall her name….

Or it could just be the fact that those responsible for making the flyer suck and had no clue how to make the images look good….or didn’t care. Hell, they were prob told to use them and not adjust them because the flyer is not for Obama…but about Obama. You just never know unless you are there working on the flyer.

I am sure that is the answer. I don’t think John openly said use the blackest pictures you can find. BUT… The person/s responsible though for this ad know exactly what they are doing. Do a google image search for Obama and try and find those images. I found one but it was buried. The person designing this layout specifically searched and picked darker pictures OR doctored them. And either way it is wrong and McCain should be asked about it. He is responsible for what his campaign puts out.
