Happy New Year!
2010! Wow… sure seems like yesterday we were celebrating the year 2k. I remember being a little kid and thinking towards the turn of the century and assuming we would all be living like the Jetsons by now. We may not be eating food in the form of a pill, but looking back (despite the Bush dark ages) there have been quite a bit of forward progress. Smart phones, expansion of Internet, next gen video gaming, stem cell research, etc.. etc. I am eager to see what the next 10 years will bring.
The past 10 sure have been filled with up and downs…. though sometimes it seemed as if there were more downs than ups… However I am very optimistic for what the future may hold. Not one to make open resolutions, but I have quite a few things I want to get done. Things I WILL get done…
Here’s to the unknown…

Bush dark ages? What planet do you live on? I’m not going to list the destruction of the US economy or net worth policies under Obama and a Democrat Congress here. A waste of time since you are oblivious to them. But I am very curious from a psycological perspective how one can be a liberal AND a poker player? Doesn’t one – as a liberal – have to return all gains back to the ‘less fortunate’ at the poker table? After all, the winner was a winner in life’s lottery to quote a liberal politician.

btw… since liberal appears to be a dirty word in your vocabulary, I am curious… (from a psycHological perspective of course) as to what YOU think that means? and please…. humor me without repeating any talking points you have learned from watching TV.
