This was a great interview. Probably one of my favorites. I grew up watching Jose play baseball and it was an honor to be able to do this. I hadn’t heard the reasoning behind his appearance at the ladies event a few years back, but it starts to make a little more sense now.
This interview was recorded before Mark McGwire finally admitted to what we all knew. (2009 WSOP) Despite what you think of Jose…. it’s a shame that he had to take all the crap he did, when in the end he was telling the truth.

Jose binked me with 9T > 55 on a 599Q board, spiked the Q on me @ Morongo back in January of 2008.
One of the worst people on this planet, and not just because of that.

Hmm, I had never heard about Jose playing the women’s tourney. With his reputation, you think he would have realized that it was going to backfire in some way.
