Friday Update…

No real update for today. Although I am really just about done with the site upgrade so I may be able to complete the switch.

I am positive I will be done this weekend. It’s taking me longer than I had planned thanks to 2 formats and a complete change of course on design. I should have done this a long time ago and I am paying for it. It will be a while before it’s as organized as I would like. I may have to go back through every blog post 1 by 1.

LaB Updates:

No comic today because I will be working on other areas of the site and should have another update later. So check back. I will be putting up some old sections along with some new ones.

So instead of comics on Mon/Wed this week. It will be Wed/Fri. Poker Road will have a new LoPR strip up today though so make sure you go over there and see what’s going on.

Nintendo Wii For Sale:

Just 3 days left for our Nintendo Wii auction. The current bid is $250.00. Get in there and get bidding! I really need to get at least $400 for it for it to be worth it.

The Return of Yirmumah:

Good to see an old friend is back doing what he does best, Yirmumah!

LaB in Vegas:

Matt and Cort were in Vegas trying to enjoy the WSOP when Cort got food poisoning! I hope he is feeling better. No fun being sick, let alone in another state. I am sure they will both have plenty of stories to tell when they return.

Congrats to David Singer:

A big congrats goes out to David Singer and his wife Erin. Within a day of winning his first WSOP bracelet in the Pot-Limit Hold’em championship (Event #3), his son SAMUEL KOSTER SINGER was born. It is the first known time that a player has had a child that close to his/her win. What a Father’s Day for him. We at LaB wish him nothing but the best and may they have a happy life.

“The Prince” my ass

We have been big fans of ole Scotty for quite some time. After watching that video above I was left speechless. Had I known about this ahead of this post, I would have picked different words to describe Mr. Nguyen. His actions were beyond disgraceful and he should be ashamed of himself. What a way to honor Chip Reese.

Sick.

EDIT: Scotty has “apologized“.
